CSG Celebrates National Safety Month 2025

At CSG, safety is not just a policy in place- it is our top priority. This June, we are proud to participate in National Safety Month (NSM), led by the National Safety Council (NSC). This annual event raises awareness around the importance of safety in every aspect of life, especially in the workplace.

CSG commits to excellence in janitorial and hospitality services. Our teams work hard every day in fast-paced, hands-on environments. Because of that, we are deeply committed to workplace safety. We truly care and prioritize the well-being of our team members, their families, and their future.

Safety is at the Heart of What We Do

Our team members are the foundation of CSG, and their safety is our top priority. Janitorial safety and hospitality safety come with unique challenges. Our team members regularly handle chemicals and equipment. That's why we invest in training, personal protective equipment, and a strong culture of accountability.

At CSG, safety is at the forefront of everything we do. We have implemented a robust safety program that protects our team members and partners. Our safety initiatives include: bi-monthly safety meetings, onsite safety ambassadors, and safety awards. We equip our team with the tools for safety and reward their success.

National Safety Month Weekly Topics

The NSC has selected 4 safety topics to explore throughout June. The four topics include Continuous Improvement, Employee Engagement, Roadway Safety, and Wellbeing.

Week 1: Continuous Improvement

National Safety Month kicks off with the topic of Continuous Improvement. At CSG, Continuous Improvement is a core value of our company and safety culture. We commit to constantly reviewing and strengthening our safety culture and practices.

We hold bi-monthly safety meetings about recent accidents, near misses, and important safety topics. These meetings give our frontline team members a voice and help us take proactive steps based on their feedback. By listening and acting, we improve the way we work and keep our team safe.

Week 2: Employee Engagement

At CSG, employee engagement plays a vital role in building a strong safety culture. From onsite safety events and friendly challenges to daily reminders and peer recognition, we make safety a shared responsibility.

We set your team members up for success with weekly safety topics through our team app. CSG leaders and team members play key roles in developing and implementing our safety initiatives. For us, safety is not just a policy, but a mindset that drives our success.

Week 3: Roadway Safety

At CSG, roadway safety is a critical part of our overall safety commitment. We recognize that many of our team members and leaders operate vehicles as part of their daily responsibilities. We are committed to protecting our people by taking roadway safety seriously.

To promote safe driving habits, we host driving contests that reward responsible behavior and reinforce key safety practices. In our industry, roadway safety doesn’t stop with car safety. We emphasize golf cart and utility cart safety, providing thorough training on proper operation and awareness.

Week 4: Wellbeing

As we close out National Safety Month 2025, we’re focusing on the essential topic of well-being. Mental health is just as important to us as physical safety. When we support our team members mentally and emotionally, they are more focused and stay safer.

CSG has a work culture where people feel seen, heard, and valued. This is accomplished by offering helpful resources and encouraging open communication. CSG is committed to building a culture where safety includes the body and mind.

Safety Is a Nonstop Commitment

At CSG, our safety culture is nonstop. We strive to create an ucompromising culture of safe workplace practices for all team members. We believe that an accident-free workplace is possible through training, hard work, and consistency. Our continuous commitment to safety has allowed us to create a best-in-class safety program.
