Today is Earth Day! Celebrated since 1970, it's a day to raise awareness about protecting the environment. Each year the day is used to educate people about the environment and show what you are doing to benefit the environment.

History of Earth Day
Earth Day began as a way to put environmental concerns at the forefront of the news. In the 1960s, overconsumption led to the pollution of the environment.
The American population was oblivious
to the adverse effects of overconsumption. US Senator, Gaylord Nelson, was determined to bring attention to the environmental crisis.
In 1969, Nelson announced the concept of Earth Day to get the entire nation onboard. Since then, 1 billion individuals have mobilized action for Earth Day, and over 190 countries have become involved. Each year individuals celebrate Earth Day through practical, sustainable, and fun acts of service.
CSG is Committed to Green Cleaning
CSG is committed to the well-being of the environment and individuals and utilizes green cleaning techniques. This unit utilizes innovative technology that allows cleaning without chemicals and reduces water usage. This new addition to CSG has allowed us to further our green cleaning initiative.
Additionally, CSG collaborates with its partners to create optimal workplace environments that enhance productivity and offer team members safe working conditions. CSG works closely with facility and property managers to help achieve LEED-EB certification and comply with industry-recognized best practices.
LEED-EB is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings, enabling managers to learn about green and sustainable building practices. Such methods include water efficiency, energy, and innovation in operations. CSG is proud to promote LEED-EB certifications as it allows us to further our commitment to green cleaning.
CSG's commitment to bettering the environment does not stop there. CSG's Green Cleaning initiatives extend throughout our entire business process, our paperless initiatives, and even with our landscaping at our office locations.
