Contract Services Group (CSG) has created a green cleaning program which meets or exceeds the requirements of the highest industry standards. Whether it be our night cleaning, porter service, window washing, specialty projects, or managed hospitality services, CSG works closely with facilities and property managers to achieve LEED-EB certification. CSG creates a comprehensive green cleaning program for its customers, assisting their facility to achieve requirements of the highest industry standards such as ISSA CIMS. CSG’s green cleaning programs include the following components:

1. The use of Green Seal Sierra Products all of which have gone under extensive environmental testing to ensure they have minimal to no impact on the environment,

2. The extensive use of HEPA filters in all of our vacuums to ensure we minimize the amount of airborne pollutants in the environment,

3. The use of efficient battery-operated vacuums and other battery-operated cleaning equipment to contribute to reduction of a facility’s use of electricity.

4. The use of both foaming soap and sprayers to promote less water use with the same level of efficacy,

5. The use of highly absorbent microfiber cloths which also promotes minimal water usage, using filtered recycled water for pressure washing services in conjunction with a pressure washing water reclamation system to ensure that minimal water is lost in the pressure washing process,

6. Implementation of Tersano’s Stabilized Aqueous Ozone. Tersano’s SAO is an emerging product which cleans on par to some of the most caustic detergents and disinfectants without leaving any lasting impact whatsoever.

7. We are transitioning our entire fleet of vehicles to electric or electric hybrids thus reducing our CO2 emissions.

8. Further we are also promoting and subsiding carpooling for our employees through Enterprise’s Commute Program, which saves approximately 1.1 million lbs. of CO2 emissions a year.
