Brea, CA—Technology is affecting all aspects of our lives. It is now even affecting the janitorial industry. CSG is starting a new initiative to invest in technology. As our Senior Vice President Dan Vasquez states “technology is an extension of self.” That is why we at CSG are interested in investing in technology. Not only does it allow our team members to become more efficient, these new cleaning tools also allow for deeper and better cleaning over more traditional methods. Because these new technologies are also less cumbersome, they also helps prevent employee injuries. One such technology that CSG has decided to invest in is the I-Mop. The I-Mop is a state of the art battery powered mop that can deeply clean 100,000 sq. ft. in 5 minutes compared to a traditional mop and wringer which would take roughly 55 minutes to cover the same area. In addition traditional mopping systems mix the clean water with the dirty water thus smearing the contaminates over a wider area of floor. The I-Mop uses a two-compartment system dividing the clean water from the dirty water allowing for a better clean. Another great feature of the I-Mop system is that sucks up its water as it cleans thus greatly diminishing the possibility of a slip and fall.
