2020 was a whirlwind of a year. Now that we at CSG have had some time to reflect on the past and look towards the future, we offer the following insights.

As a contract cleaning vendor whom services many different clients in a variety of industries, we have seen a wide array of responses to this pandemic. One of the approaches that our clients have decided to explore is outsourcing many operational functions so that their team can focus on what they do best, and that their partners can focus on what they are experts in.

The operational functions we have seen outsourced for our Hotel clients have been:

This was a growing trend prior to the pandemic, but now is something that even more companies are looking to do. The reason companies are turning to outsourcing as a means of responding to the to the pandemic varies greatly.

Here are some of the most common reasons we have found:

• Reduce expenses

• Remove liabilities such as vacation accrual from balance sheets

• Desire for a more flexible workforce
